This punjabi restaurant on the Delhi Chandigarh highway is highly underrated and a real good alternative for those who've crossed Murthal or are generally looking to look beyond the umpteen "dhabas"there.
I stopped at this place on a late afternoon hoping to get my craving for dal baati choorma fulfilled. The place wore an almost deserted look, but I was dazzled by the gorgeous interiors and intricate attention they've paid in creating a folksy ambience here.
The rajasthani food arrived after some wait but the dal was rich, bursting with the right flavors. The baati was crispy and came crumbled. I gorged on the food to my heart's content when it started pouring cats and dogs outside. The inside too started dripping at couple of places.
Gave me some more time to click pics inside, as I waited for the hailstorm to subside.
